Hello, we are part of the UK car club but live in Jersey. We visit France regularly and would love to meet up with members from France. My French is appalling but my wife's is not bad. However we will soon be put to shame by our three year old daughter!! We will be over in Brittany to do a track day in our Vixen in March at Loheac and again in August for a track day at Le Mans bugatti circuit. If you'd like to meet up please email me on lloyd_gilly@hotmail.com or I will try and access this site again. The track days are run by delta racing and can give you more information if you would like to join in.

I have seen an add for someone in Jersey searching a vixen!!
You have found one apparently! a little pic?
Happy to see you in Brittany, but my vixen is very incomplète , a day perhaps.
a date for the track day in march?

hello, the loheac date is 22n march.
the advert is to try and get a 2nd vixen - very greedy!
as you will find out when you get yours together they are great cars - or maybe you could be a passenger in mine.

I doesn't know "Delta Racing", is it possible to accept other cars to your meeting, I know some caterham owners and other who can be interested if it is possible to join you?

You must upload your pic on a website like http://imageshack.us/ and copy the link ( I take the last one on the website), after you click on
IMG at the top of your message, copy the link and another one click on IMG and normally it is OK, I know on all the forums it is not easy !!
If not possible you can send me an mp, and I send you my mail address.

some photos you have just send with some nice cars and rebuilt process!!
Have you some infos for your hydraulic brakes installation, generaly they are fitted with tr6 servo and 1xmaster cylinder or some Ford upgrade also, I have a similar installation on my elva with dual master cylinder?never seen another vixen like this one!!it's an early s2 perhaps?
fine engine bay also, what is the spécification please ?

hi engine is still 1600cc fitted with twin 45 webbers (on twin 40s in pic) 244 cam standard balanced crank . it dyno'd at 142 hp @7500. well the brakes cylinder are wilwood fitted to there own balance bar box working there 4 pot dynalite 2 calipers + vented disc . not standard i think. old units weren't serviceable .new works well as long as you have good legs . you still think you will come down to track. i am still working at getting my second car. wot stage is your vixen at is a s3 or 4

my old S3

sold now

and the vixen I try to complète is an s4, vixen body on M série chassis, an hybrid vixen

and a lot of work , in fact a like new chassis suspension and the body is done now, the hydraulics on my car are also in bad condition( calipers seems to be like new but 1 is sized) I am not sure that is the better choice now, rebuilt or upgrade??

hi chris your old car looks very nice they allways look good in yellow .did you hillclimbe it i see numbers on the side . I am still in that mind about my brakes but they do work well. but i never drove the car with the standard brakes.

look nice in lotus yellow , the new owner live also in brittany, and doesn't race it but you can see him "à la course de cote de St Gouéno" near Collinée , an hillclimb in brittany where some jersey or british racer come every year for a "demonstration"
