Aug 31st-Sept 3rd The Surrey Region are in Epernay- PARTY !!

Hello from Sunny Surrey,

I'm Karen Thosmit, the Surrey RO and we're bringing 40 TVR's toReims and Epernay from Friday August 31st to Monday September 3rd 2007. This is our big celebration to mark the 60 years of TVR.

We are travelling on Friday morning, August 31st and staying at La Chartreuse du Val Saint Esprit, Gosnay (just off junction 6 of the A26). Saturday September 1st we head for Epernay and the Champagne Region where we will be enjoying a tour of Mercier Champagne before checking in to our hotels. Saturday evening is a black tie, gala 5 course meal in the cellars of Mercier with plenty of Champagne. Sunday we'll be visiting the old Reims GP circuit and then driving around the vine yards in the sunshine. Monday we head back to Calais but along more local roads this time.

We did put an advert in the January issue of Sprint but I thought it was polite as we are visiting your territory that we at least make contact. If you or any of your members would like to be part of our celebrations then please let me know. You are very welcome to come to the black tie event or how about a big meet on the Sunday at the Reims GP circuit. We'd be really pleased to meet you.

Hi Karen.

The hotel you've chosen at Gosnay is great, if none of you have stayed before. Early arrival for the best parking spaces is advisable though. Most rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and there are three excellent restaurants. Enjoy!
