Je n'ai malheureusement pas la place ni l'argent pour le moment, mais un jour j'en aurai une, garée à côté de ma Cat et de ma future Lotus Elan Sprint.

Believed to be one of only 4 Factory Built "Lightweight" Mk2 cars, originally owned by Arnold Burton and predominantly driven in 1961 by John Woolfe.
Arnold Burton was at that time the major sponsor / shareholder of the TVR factory and you could therefore presume this car should be considered as a "works" car.
After driving this Grantura, John Woolfe went on to be part of the TVR factory team's Le Mans effort in 1962 and became a regular Le Mans driver until his untimely death at the wheel of a Porsche 917 on the very first lap of 1969 race.
Originally registered "AUD 100" the very early history of the car is undocumented, however Arnold Burton has confirmed his original ownership and recalls John Woolfe driving the car at various venues which included Goodwood and Silverstone International race meetings.
Chassis number; 7C 238 would confirm the car was originally supplied with a 1216cc "Climax" motor and the car originally competed in this configuration including the Fordwater Trophy at Goodwood in April 1961, later in that season an MGA engine was installed for the International Silverstone Empire Trophy meeting in July 1961.
During the following year and as the TVR factory developed the later Mk3 type chassis, AUD100 changed hands and was raced in the BRSCC British Sports Car Championship during 1962-64 with the MGA motor and fitted with a HRG alloy cylinder head and running with twin 40DCOE Webers during the second ownership of Mike Sargeant.
The third owner Bill Cook raced the car in club events predominantly at Brands Hatch and Snetterton until the car's racing retirement in 1971.
AUD100 was used sparingly on the road during the early 1970s and has been mostly dry stored and unused since.
Unfortunately, during this time, the original registration number was lost and an age related number is now recorded on the V5 registration document.
The speedometer reading of 3,150 miles ( three thousand, one hundred and fifty ) is believed to be correct and old MOT certificates help confirm accuracy.
Having owned the car for many years awaiting restoration, I have now decided to offer the car for sale in its current amazingly original and un-spoilt condition.
Mechanically, the car is exactly as it was last used and retains the HRG cylinder head, Weber carbs, etc.
The original Oxford Blue paint has cracks and flaking areas due to the bodywork's lightweight flexibility, traces of the original yellow stripe remain visible.
The Red Leather Interior of the car is simply superb and original. Some scrutineering labels from the 1960s are still hanging under the dash board.
The "Wobbly-Web" wheels appear undamaged and reasonably uncorroded and yes, there is a spare.
The car is for sale complete with a folder of history including both old style "Log Book" and new style V5 registration documents, DVLA archives, photographs and period negatives, old MOT certificates plus some old paperwork and hand written engine and specification information.
Obviously this car represents a rare and excellent opportunity for someone to obtain a superbly original car with period International race history which will be extremely eligible for most all very high profile events and obviously including the prestigious "Goodwood Revival".
Car located in Chelmsford, England.
