Hi I am in Dept 71 and any help with what you find would be appreciated as I have a restored Chim 500 that I would like to keep and enjoy France but keep hitting brick walls with getting it registered.

I am now trying to get my car homologated rather than selling it. I have made contact with somebody that has homologated 3 cars in the last year and why not? It depends what office you talk with and there is no reason for the DREAL not accepting UK approval.

My car is restored and in A1 condition with 800 km on new engine.

Had it up to !! with the admin to get the registered so selling my baby. Any body wants a A1 500 Chim contact me for the very high spec. Note this is fully restored with an engine of 800 km say no more. 22000 euro for a car as new. contact me for photos and spec. You will not find better.

Note it took me 15 months but I do have a lot of photo's of the the work carried out so ask.

Have done a nut and bolt on my Chim including engine so any problems I have been there and done it. SO i can help in all respects on the tech front. Ther is a guy in Paris who passed his Chim with the TVR info on spec I am trying to find him again. He passed a Chim with UK whole type approval Cert in Paris. It is crazy that a car like a TVR has problems.

Back on line for any help. Have done a nut and bolt on a Chim 500 so I know all the problems.
